Health, Wealth and Well-Being

Public health is teaming up with Chesterfield Borough Council’s Community Development Worker, Wendy Blunt to run a Health, Wealth and Wellbeing project in Barrow Hill. There is a huge range of agencies involved: Citizens Advice, DUWC, Derbyshire Law Centre, Job Centre Plus, Credit Union, Affordable Warmth, Children’s Centre/Multi Agency Team, Severn Trent Water, Environmental Health and CBC Housing. This project is to be delivered on 3 consecutive Wednesdays in July, the 2nd, 9th and 16th.  The first week a leaflet drop will take place advertising all the agencies and what help they can offer.

The second week the team will be out there door knocking telling residents what help they can get and for them to make appointments which can be either in their home or in a community venue within the village. The third week is when the appointments take place.
